"GREAT EXPLORATIONS of NATURE and ART"
During the morning Nature Camp children experience the wonders of Nature "hands-on" as they explore the plant and animal communities at Maitland Farm. Campers have FUN while developing a deeper appreciation of Nature. Join us for a week or two. *($30 discount if signed up for two weeks, or AM and PM camp of the same week for the same child.)
Our afternoon Nature Art sessions expose children to the wonders of Nature as they engage in "hands-on" Art experiences. Campers have fun indoors while developing a deeper appreciation of Art and Nature. Join us for a week or two. *($30 discount if signed up for two weeks, or AM and PM camp of the same week for the same child.)
Ages: **For Children 3 year old through 5th grade.
Clothing: Play clothes...(shorts, shirts, and tennis shoes.) Please have your child bring an extra pair of old "puddle jumping" shoes to leave at camp for his time here. (Please write your child’s name in them)
Staff: Each group will have an adult and a junior counselor with a 1:10 ratio (Pre-K and Kindergarten groups) of staff to children. Senior staff will be experienced teachers who have a love and appreciation of nature to share with your child.
Food: We are not able to refrigerate lunches. Bring an insulated bag with a cold pack. Camp will provide morning snack and lunch beverages.
Health Certificate: Important—We need a copy of your child's health and immunization form if not currently enrolled in public school or here at Maitland.
Fee: $130 per week per camp. *TBA for two weeks, or AM and PM camp of the same week for the same child. A deposit of $100 is to accompany the registration for each week. (Balance to be paid before or on the first day of camp.)
**MINIMUM AGE: Children must be 3 by 1/1/12 and have completed 1 year of preschool and be potty trained.
